Loudoun County

  • Leesburg Chess Club - Now officially disbanded.
  • Ashburn Chess Club - Excellent club that started with a bang.

  • Sterling Chess - Focuses on tournaments

Elsewhere in VA

  • Arlington Chess Club - Located somewhat in Northern Virginia.
  • Virginia Chess Clubs; including Kingstowne Chess Club, several chess clubs in Fairfax, Richmond Chess Club, and a bunch more (including schools)
  • Reston Chess Club Meets at the Reston Community Center
  • Spotsy Chess Club - holds the best scholastic chess tournaments in the state. Brian Dickerson runs this show with class.

Washington D.C.
